ITEC 3000: Math for Information Technology

COURSE OVERVIEW: ITEC 3000 was a basic math class that covered some algebraic equations as well as binary and hexadecimal conversions from the base-10 decimal system.

COURSE REFLECTION: I completed this 30 hour course in about 6 hours. I learned binary addition and subtraction, binary conversions (base-2), and hexadecimal conversions (base-16). Learning about hexadecimal code was especially useful later in the SDEV 1022 course, since I used hex code for CSS colors. The course also covered multiplication, long division, and basic equations.
